上海科技馆是由上海市政府投资兴建的公益性社会文化项目。上海科技馆是一个科技博物馆集群,目前包括科技馆、自然博物馆和天文馆三个场馆。我们的使命是提高公民科学文化素养,构建科技与人文融合的平台。作为中国最大的综合性科普场馆之一,上海科技馆荣获了包括“国家一级博物馆”、“5A级旅游景点”等一系列最高等级荣誉奖项。自2001年开馆以来,我馆年均接待游客近400万人次。上海科技馆多次被列为全球客流量最大的20博物馆(最高排名第6位,2017年)。
上海科技馆位于上海浦东新区行政文化中心,建筑面积约10万平方米,展示面积3万平方米。在经历了20多年运行后,很多展项无法满足公众的需求,为结合时代的发展向公众展示最新的科技,科技馆与去年4月初闭馆,进行升级改造,预计2025年底重新向公众开放。
上海自然博物馆坐落于市中心静安区,建筑面积约4.5万平方米,展示面积1.2万平方米。自博馆采用新型的“开放式”展示方式,让观众能够近距离观察动植物标本、矿物、模型、绘画等,激发观众观展热情。自博馆共有10个主题馆,展示了1万多件标本,结合互动多媒体、机械模型、剧场、视听室等展示形式,深受公众喜爱,自开馆至今客流量一直高居不下,已接待观众超过1000余万。
上海天文馆是目前全球最大的天文馆,位于浦东临港新片区,地处上海东南远郊,拥有较好的天文观测条件。天文馆建筑面积为3.8万平方米,展示面积为1.8万平方米。自2021年开馆以来,天文馆是上海最热门的博物馆之一,一票难求。天文馆采用的是“沉浸体验式”展示方式,共有3大主题展区、三个特色展区,300多件展品,原创比例约85%、互动展品超过50%,世界著名陨石精品约70件,原版科学名著等天文文物超过120件。
The Introduction of Shanghai Science & Technology Museum
The Shanghai Science and Technology Museum is a sociocultural project for public welfare sponsored by the Shanghai City Government. It is a cluster of science and technology museums, currently including three venues: the Science and Technology Museum; the Natural History Museum; and the Astronomy Museum. Our mission is to improve the scientific and cultural literacy of citizens and to build a platform for the integration of science, technology, and humanities. As one of the largest, most comprehensive venues for science popularization in China, the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum has won a series of high accolades, such as "National First-Grade Museum" and "AAAAA tourist attraction". Since its opening in 2001, the museum has welcomed an average of nearly 4 million visitors annually. Shanghai Science and Technology Museum has been listed among the 20 most visited museums in the world for many years (ranking in the top 6 in 2017).
The Shanghai Science and Technology Museum is located in the administrative and cultural center of the Shanghai Pudong Area, with a construction area of about 100,000 square meters and an exhibition area of 30,000 square meters.While many exhibition items can no longer meet the needs of the public after more than 20 years of operation, the Science and Technology Museum closed in early April of last year for upgrading. Expected to reopen in the end of 2025, it will present the public with the latest in technology and development.
The Shanghai Natural History Museum is located in the Jing'an District in the city center, with a construction area of about 45,000 square meters and an exhibition area of 12,000 square meters. The museum adopts a new "open" display mode, allowing the audience to see and experience plants and animal’s specimens, minerals, models, paintings, and other items that will stimulate high enthusiasm for the exhibition. This museum has a total of 10 themed pavilions, displaying more than 10,000 specimens, combined with interactive multimedia, mechanical models, theaters, audiovisual studios and other popular forms of display. It has received more than 10 million visitors since its opening, with an ever-increasing visitor total.
Shanghai Astronomy Museum is currently the world's largest planetarium, located in the Pudong Lingang New Area. The Shanghai Astronomy Museum is located in the southeast suburbs of Shanghai, where it provides better astronomical observation conditions. The Shanghai Astronomy Museum has a construction area of 38,000 square meters and an exhibition area of 18,000 square meters. Since its opening in 2021, the Shanghai Astronomy Museum has become one of the most popular museums in Shanghai, the audiences fill the museum every day, and it is hard to get a ticket. The Shanghai Astronomy Museum employs an "immersive experience" display, with three themed exhibition areas and three special exhibition areas; there are more than 300 items on display, of which 85% are original proportion, and more than 50% are interactive projects. There are about 70 pieces of world-renowned meteorites, more than 120 original copies of scientific classics and other astronomical cultural relics.
