上海市生态经济学会（以下简称“学会”）是上海市社联所属社团，创立于1986年10月。全国人大代表、原上海社会科学院院长张仲礼教授为第一届、第二届、第三届理事会会长，陈予群教授为第四届理事会会长，原上海社会科学院院长、十届上海市政协副主席王荣华教授为第五届理事会会长，上海社会科学院生态与可持续发展研究所所长周冯琦研究员为第六届、第七届理事会会长，王荣华教授为上海市生态经济学会名誉会长。学会自创立以来，在生态城市建设、节能减排、环境保护政策等领域提供决策咨询、信息交流与培训等服务，产生了广泛的社会影响。
学会的主要工作：
•组织开展生态经济科学研究与应用；
•组织开展国内外学术交流、考察；
•承接研究课题，为政府部门和企事业单位提供咨询服务；
•组织推介与评价学术成果，组织编写学术论著，编发信息资料等；
•传播、普及生态经济科学知识，组织开展相关专业培训。
学会每季为会员提供内部交流资料“生态经济与可持续发展动态”(以下简称“动态”)，“动态”全面跟踪生态经济与可持续发展领域的国内外前沿热点问题，解读相关领域政策，展示环境保护、可再生能源等领域最新技术信息，介绍推广会员单位先进技术以及成功的实践经验。学会不定期举办专业性论坛，为会员提供信息推广、政策解读、经验共享的高层次发展平台。
学会欢迎全市生态经济和相关领域的企事业单位以及有志于此的研究者、实践者的积极参与。

Brief Introduction of
Shanghai Academic Society for Ecological Economy
Shanghai Academic Society for Ecological Economy (in short “the Society”) is the member unit of Shanghai Federation of Social Science Associations, which was founded in October 1986. Professor Zhang Zhongli, who was the deputy of China National People’s Congress and the former President of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, was the President of the Society Council of the first, second and third session. Professor Chen Yuqun was the President of the Society Council of the fourth session. Professor Wang Ronghua, who was the former President of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences and the former Vice Chairman of Shanghai People’s Political Consultative Conference, was the President of the Society Council of the fifth session. Professor Zhou Fengqi, who is the Director of Institute of Ecology and Sustainable Development, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, is the President of the Society Council of the sixth and seventh session. Professor Wang Ronghua is the Honorary President of Shanghai Academic Society for Ecological Economy. Since it was founded, the Society has conducted lots of policy consultation, information exchange and training services in the fields of eco-city building, energy conservation and emission reduction, environmental policies and etc., which have brought about far-reaching social influence.
The tasks of the Society include:
•Organize scientific research and application of ecological economy;
•Organize academic exchange and survey both at home and internationally;
•Provide consultation services to the government and enterprises through the research projects;
•Organize the writing and recommendation of academic books and articles, and provide information services;
•Disseminate scientific knowledge of ecological economy, and organize related professional training.
The Society provides to the members the seasonal internal exchange journal “Dynamics for Eco-economy and Sustainable Development” (in short “the Dynamics”). “The Dynamics” comprehensively traces the latest heated points concerning eco-economy and sustainable development at home and internationally, explains the policies in the related fields, presents the newest technological information about environmental protection and renewable energies, and recommends and disseminates the advanced technologies and successful practices of the member units. The Society holds professional forums regularly and irregularly, providing the high-level development platform for information spreading, policies explaining and experience sharing.
The Society warmly welcomes all the enterprises, institutions, researchers and practitioners in the related fields concerning ecological economy in Shanghai.
