Shanghai Association for Quality (SAQ), established in 1981, is a self-supporting, non-profit and non-governmental quality association，with over 800 organization members committed to quality innovation and the pursuit of excellence, covering over 90% of industries, and serving thousands of small, medium and micro enterprises. Main service scope includes: quality investigation and research, publicity; domestic and international exchange and cooperation; quality improvement activities, user related work; recommend and evaluate quality achievements/awards; provide professional services such as training, standardization, certification&auditing, evaluation, quality and brand consulting,etc.
上海市质量协会, 成立于1981 年，是自收自支、非盈利、非政府的质量专业社团，由上海市致力于质量创新和追求卓越的800多家单位会员组成，会员覆盖90%以上的国民经济产业门类，服务中小微企业数千家。主要服务范围包括：质量调查研究、宣传；国内外交流与合作；质量推进活动，用户相关工作；推荐和评估质量成果/奖项；提供培训、标准化、认证、评价、质量与品牌咨询等专业服务。
SAQ has established a sound governance system by Charter, Chinese laws and international practice，with a member representative assembly, a memership council, an excutive board and a board of supervisors. The leadership team consists of the president, the supervisory chairman, the vice presidents and the secretary general, totaling 21 members. The president is Mr. Jiang Shujie, Chairman of Shanghai Chentou Group Coorporation. The day-to-day operations are carried out by the Secretariat under the leadership of the Secretary-General, as well as 6 professional service institutions invested by SAQ. SAQ has established a extensive domestic and international cooperation network, including the International Academy for Quality(IAQ), more than 20 national quality organizations, Asia Pacific and other regional quality organizations, standardization organizations, relavant industry associations, universities and professional institutions, industry leading enterprises, etc.
协会按照章程、中国法律和借鉴国际经验建立了完善的治理体系，设有会员代表大会、理事会、会长班子和监事会，领导团队由会长、监事长、副会长、秘书长共21人组成，现任会长为上海城投集团董事长蒋曙杰先生。日常运行由秘书长领导下的秘书处和协会投资的6个专业服务机构承担。协会建立了广泛的国内外交流合作网络，合作伙伴包括国际质量科学院、二十多个国家的质量组织、亚太等区域质量组织、标准化组织、相关行业协会、高校与专业机构、行业标杆企业等。
